The Swan Song

Right in the closing days of my college life, I got two lifelines that people crave to get during the entire lengths of their professional lifespans!
  • Was offered an internship at AOL, Bangalore (June 2009)

  • Google awarded me a "Google Summer of Code" project for the summer of 2009 (with stripend of $4500) for Python support to Anjuta (GNOME)!! [Link]
Thank you God, I owe it to you! May everyone on this earth be as happy as I am.

[If you are linguistically inclined, try dissecting the title of the post to understand how I feel]

Congrats Ishan!
I was reading about PyGTK and glade in the book "Beginning Python" today, Checked out Anjuta IDE, went to File->New->Project. Under Python section I could see General Python App and Django Project. I would like to see a 'PyGTK Project' section under it, moreover if you could try integrating glade designer somehow, it would be amazing :)
Best of luck

Thanks for the suggestions! Yes, PyGTK was surely on my mind. I'll look into the Glade integration, its a question of another plugin which has already been written, though I didnt install/use it personally. :-) I am planning to blog all the progress here, http://ishan.chattopadhyaya.com/blog/
Your comments shall be valuable thruout the project :-)
